The correct size board is imperative to riding correctly. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of bigger riders who ride
fine on small boards and smaller riders that ride bigger boards. If you come to understand the page below, you will know what
kind of skimboard you need to buy.

BOARD PRICES
Boards range in price, the cheapest starting at about $40 and ranging all the way up to about $120. These prices are
the prices of the boards that you'll find in a local surf shop in Cape May or Wildwood, and these boards work perfectly fine
for a majority of the skimboarding population. The professional boards start at about $199 and range all the way up to $399.
There are usually two different types of boards that you will see on the market. The wooden boards, are mostly made for your
quick fix if you want to try skimboarding and would like to make a go at skimming. If you are more into the sport than the
newcomers, then you are better off buying a fiberglass board that will allow you to ride faster and farther.
WHICH BOARD IS RIGHT FOR ME?
In this case, you have to go to the pros...me...in order to understand which board is right for you. Look at the chart
at the top of the page, or just talk to one of the representatives at the stores...they can figure it out for you. If you
really want to understand the best board to buy, you need to know how much you weigh. I like to purchase a board that is thick
enough to hold my weight but is light enough to do some insane tricks on.
